Better Than Friday - 193

Good afternoon everyone, sorry about the delay, turns out this is a 'Better than Saturday' - Was traveling yesterday.

Hope you're all reading something good, and if you need a recommendation, I just posted a review of Robert Walser's 'Berlin Stories'.

Have a good one!

1. An Overdue Read - The Complete Essays by Montaigne

Comes highly recommended by authors who know what they're talking about.

2. My Love for Jazz Grows in Direct Proportion to my days on Earth

Heard this for the first time recently - Great summer track.

3. Hunter S. Thompson argues with a Hell's Angel

"So this is my side of what happened - "

"Well you weren't there, so...Why don't you preface it with that."

(audience laughter)

4. Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant in Alfred Hitchcock's 'Notorious' (spoilers?)

Great performances in a great film.

5. Tennessee William's Obsession with Death

Fascinating playwright. Love Dick Cavett too. What a legend.
