Ohh man, I wish I could help you more. But I'm fully on board Cliff. Onward!
That's insane, dude. I have not read Story Of The Eye just yet but I'm thinking after Tuesday's review, I'm going to run over them thar hills and hold up a bookstore that has it. Hope it goes well, I'll definitely be seeing. From a LONG time fan,
Thanks a whole lot man - can't wait to hear what you think
So fascinating, from a filmmaker's perspective, to actually hear of an individual owning the film rights to their favourite book. It'd be a pure dream. I know I'd love to have that with John Hersey's 'Hiroshima'. Otherwise I'm very glad for you and am excited to see the process of this film's 'realisation' on your part and Mr Doyle's.
It's an option, so it needs to be done asap. If you have any leads let me know man, thanks a bunch for watching ;)
This is incredible. Really happy for you, man! Christopher Doyle is brilliant. Saw Jodorowsky's latet at a film festival last month, and Doyle's sensibilities behind the camera worked wonderfully well in play with Jodorowsky's as a director/artist. As for merchandise, I think bookmarks is the perfect place for you to start. I know I'd buy a bunch.
Well thanks a bunch man
As to the vlogs, I say do it up. I generally find the lives and insights of well-read folks intrinsically interesting. As to merchandise and such, I wouldn't personally be interested in shirts or whatever. I did have an idea to share however: Fancy bookmarks for each of the particular books you've reviewed with QR-coded links to the review would be most excellent and, I think, appropriate for the nature of your channel.
Oh wow that would be very interesting - thanks for the tip Marshall
How incredible it is to be able to breath life into a work of literature that you are so passionate about, wishing you all the luck with that. I am conflicted with 'the day in the life' idea simply because the mystery, I think, is what adds to Sir Cliff's charm, but a tiny bit to satiate our curiousity won't hurt I guess ;)
Thank you very much Aysha, I'll do my best not to overdue it. Really value your input, I got the 'Written on the body', looking forward to it.
It's awesome to hear that your trying to get a feature made, I would definitely be interested in watching it. And I love the idea of vlogs, the day in the life stuff sounds like it would be interesting.
Thanks a bunch Aidan, really appreciate the support

That was unintentional. Anyway, I love the idea of these vlogs and especially the updates on your bookshelf as a Patreon exclusive thing. Concerning the "day in the life" videos, I would say go for it if you feel like the infrequent nature of them wouldn't compromise anything you do, and I'd certainly be interested to see them, but I just hope they wouldn't invade the area between your output for the public and your personal existence, as they seem to with a good deal of vloggers. One recommendation: I'd love to see some book/film/album recommendations, contemporaneous or not, in addition to the bookshelf updates, just to give us a bit of insight into your mind as a creator and consumer. Love the idea of the Story of the Eye - keep doing what your doing, man!
