Watch for your reviews with quite a bit of anticipation. Over the last month have read The Fall, this Harry Crews (all we need...) and am now finally getting to Suttree. I have avoided Cormack McC, frearful of the beautifully written violence. Huge fan of Flannery O'Connor so thank you for steering me back to Southern Gothic.
