Better Than Friday - 14

Made it to Texas driving a 16-foot truck from Detroit to Austin, right before the snow hit.

Barely made it out. Crazy.

1. A Memoir I'd Love to Get To Soon that was called 'Extraordinary' by Chuck Pahlaniuk

Chronology of Water by Lidia Yuknavitch

This looks like a very intense memoir of a woman who was a competitive swimmer, an alcoholic, and one time lover of Kathy Acker.

This is also a famous TED Talk of hers, I'm going to wait until I've read the memoir to finish it, but looks great.

2. A Business Model I'm Totally Considering

I love this vintage/used book marketing via instagram.

I thought it would be cool to have a Better Than Food bookstore.

If this is something you'd be interested in supporting (as in you'd purchase cool books) please let me know in the comments below.

3. Exceptional Band From Austin TX

I've been listening to the dark garage rock sounds of The Black Angels for a decade.

I still love that first song 'You on the Run'.

4. Last terrific bottle of Wine I drank.

This guy.

Some real spicy, cinnamony, almost mulled-wine action happening here.

Delicious.

You can pick it up at Trader Joe's <$10, I think.

Does anybody know some Wine companies who would sponsor the show?

5. Great coffee shop in Waco TX (Yes, that Waco).

Pinewood Coffee Roasters

It made it onto this list of the Best Coffee Shops in America.

Thanks for supporting the show, have a great weekend.
