Attention International Patrons!

Good morning, thank you so much for supporting Better Than Food. 

I could not do this without you. 

I have a few updates. 

First, the not-so-good news. 

I'm sorry to have to announce that, moving forward -

I'll be unable to pay for *international* shipping for the coffee lottery. 

International Patrons Can Still Win the Lottery and have a book and coffee sent to them, but they will have to cover the shipping costs. 

As compensation for international patrons, I will be offer the option of sending a larger bag of coffee (a caveat - this may increase shipping costs).

After experimenting with sending books and coffee all over the globe, I've discovered that it's quite expensive. 

Since I'm trying to make money to grow the channel and give you more book reviews and content, spending a bunch of the Patreon money on shipping just isn't sustainable. 

This will go into effect after the next posted review. 

Now, The Good News:

Starting August 16th I will be experimenting with a further piece of content for $5+ patrons inspired by Tim Ferriss' 5 Bullet Friday. 

We could call it Better Than Food Friday. 

But that's terrible. Somebody help me with a title, I beg you. 

To start, I'm going to experiment with the following 5 pieces of content (these may change from week to week).

What I'm currently reading, 

What's in the book pipeline, 

What I'm listening to, 

What I'm watching, 

Last great article I read (or podcast I listened to). 

I'd love input on what you'd like to see. 

I'll also be posting an occasional poll so $5+ patrons will be able to vote on which books they'd like me to review next. 

So, occasionally you can help decide which book I review and get a headstart on reading it.  

I sincerely appreciate all the support and hope you understand the changes.
