QUESTION: Bring back Film reviews?
I love Films, however, I never watch them any longer because I'm reading books.
Many people have asked to bring the film reviews back, but I'm not comfortable with charging you, my fantastically generous Patron, with anything you're not willing to pay for/are interested in supporting.
It would take much less time to get a Film Review out than a book review.
The films will of course be ones I think you'll enjoy, Arthouse, Criterion, etc.
WHAT IF...I did Film Reviews, and the winner of the $5+ Coffee Lottery (for each one of course) would get 1 Free Month of Filmstruck along with coffee?
I'll be sure to announce any changes should they occur well before the fact.

You could also pair some of your film reviews to go with a book reviews. For example when you reviewed Pinocchio you talked about the film Czech film Little Otik. It’s a wild film and I didn’t know about it until you mentioned it.
I was thinking the same, actually. I could have sworn Froth on the Daydream had been reviewed by Cliff at some point, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, there's a film adaptation by Michel Gondry called Mood Indigo. Also, Norwegian Wood comes to mind.

I deleted them awhile back. I wasn't happy with them.
I really appreciated your old film reviews, especially the vulnerability and honesty you put out in the video for One More Time with Feeling. As someone who watch a few hundred movies a year (currently at 385 movies in 2018), this is perfect for me. As for the Lottery prices, as has already been said Mubi is a great alternative for people outside the US/UK.
Sure. I’m in. Like most here will agree we love the book reviews as #1 priority.
Your channel helped me ( and I'm sure many others ) rediscover my love for reading. I'm sure you could do the same with film!
I'm all for the film reviews as long as there are stil plenty of biik reviews. But, I swear to God, if I see one f***ing Harry Potter movie review, I'm out.

Initially I was against it simply because I didn't want anything taking away from the book reviews as yours is one of the few book related channels I enjoy consistently. Also I have a Filmstruck account already so... But after a few hours I've changed my mind. I don't have time to read all the books you talk about but a film is considerably different as I can watch it easy enough. Plus I figure if your taste in books is as good as it is your taste in movies has to be equally as good.

The only way to make this even better would to be to add record reviews in the mix.
So this is a question about continuing to make film reviews as a side-project to the book reviews? I'd be down, and hope you reupload the old ones too. Personally I'd like to hear any media recommendations from you, including music!
Yup, it would just be a couple reviews a month. Unfortunately I don't have the old film reviews from years back but I could redo them.
