I've read Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer (there's an excellent audiobook read by Nick Offerman that I highly recommend, I'm not a fan of audiobooks but that man was destined for the job) but I've never even considered reading anything beyond those. I'll have to remedy that as this story sounds beautiful.

Twain was a master. I get the sense that all he really wanted to do was write funny books, but they become so much more than that. Literature is the better for it.

Damn, I was fleshing out some ideas for a short story about Adam & Eve but now I can't imagine doing it as good as that sounds.
