Anddddd Goya's Sabbath makes a sudden appearance! haha Well, I'm intrigued by Paglia's thoughts on the feminine and the masculine. But it just makes a lot of sense that a lot of people seem to identify with neither of them at a time in which more and more people seem confused about the overall human connection, incresingly so after the pandemic, staying too enclosed on the comfort of being behind a screen with scarsely no human contact and so on. I mean, if VR and META are becoming more and more a part of our daily lifes, this part of human nature might really become lost. Or I'm tripping. Most probably the latter. I think many people also become this way out of a puberty crisis that they don't come in good terms with, so they resort to something extremist to alter the self. It doesn't seem to be enough, though... Supressing energy of the opposite gender or one's own is, to me, some sort of self sterilization. But that's a way more complex subject. After watching the video over and over again, I'm still a bit puzzled about the definition of Dark Feminine. It interests me deeply, I hope to be enlighted by Emily Dickinson, maybe Emily Bronte when I get to read more of them. I mean, it seems to me one can flow perfectly well between these types of energy without messing up their "default". If we have Bowie with the feminine, then I guess we got Nina Hagen on the other end. I had the chance of visiting Viareggio - the city Shelley died - when I was on my way to Pisa. I slept there for a night and that was enough to make me fall in love with it. Oh, to die in such a romantic city. The Witch of Atlas is a read quick enough to be read in a day, so I might do that now.

Jesus, Cliff. You’re on fire. This was great. A part of me always ignites whenever there’s speculation about a writer reading another behind the scenes, or even a director basing their work off of a book that’s fallen into (arguably somewhat) obscurity. I remember listening to William Irwin Thompson once describe Flash Gordon as a pop response to Rudolf Steiner which completely floored me. Good times.

Thank you very much Breffni! Yes, same, it's always interesting to hear about the origins of ideas.
