Better Than Friday - 248
Hullo friends - A Happy Friday to ye
New review of Cartoons by Kit Schluter just went up early for ya'll.
As you can see I had trouble reading from it, the book is so damn funny.
Also - I'm postponing the livestream for SP Chap 4 to combine with next month's Chap 5 to have enough material for the hour.
Meanwhile -
1. ANGER: The Unauthorized Biography of Kenneth Anger by Bill Landis (Paid Link)
I've been told Kenneth Anger was so pissed about this biography that he cursed the author.
Ironic considering Anger wrote 'Hollywood Babylon', the incomparably notorious compendium of sunset strip rumours.
Can't wait.
2. Brian Cox played a great Hannibal Lecter
My first time watching 'Manhunter'.
3. Corsican Folk Song by Tony Toga
Came across this by chance the other day, really enjoying it.
Been a Pérotin fan for a long time, cool to see this performed live.
5. A remarkably genius segment from an interview with filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini
His murder remains unsolved.

That's a great segment with Pasolini. There's an EXCELLENT bio called Pasolini Requiem by Barth David Schwartz if you're ever in the mood to learn more. Gave me a huge appreciation for him & the context in which he existed. Today the man would probably have never made a great film or written great poetry but he'd have had an amazing Twitter feed!
Will definitely check out the documentary, thanks man!
