Great stuff Cliff. By the way Robert MacFarlane is a very popular UK nature writer. He's written several books including his debut Mountains of the mind, which inspired the 2017 documentary Mountain (narrated by Willem Dafoe), The Wild Places, The Old Ways and of course Underland. He's a big fan of The Peregrine (he provided the afterword for the UK 50th anniversary edition) and he's also written a few times about Cormac McCarthy. Robert Macfarlane is practically an institution when its comes to UK nature writing.

excited to reread sexual personae. I read when I was in my 20's and really enjoyed it but I know I will get more out of the reread if not just for having lived more and read more in the meantime. if I can read through the underlining I did initially.. I was really heavy handed the first time through.. I really enjoyed your review of thr first chapter! super excited.

Ok. So this is hours after the fact but, still, very impressive. If I were a more together person, I would be on top of this and will try to be in the future.
