Hey Mike, I removed the video as most Patron members simply did not find the video useful unfortunately. If I remember right you mentioned something about the LUT? Let me know the question again and I will try and remember my response.
Hi Mike this was in quantV discord. # How to update and remove the "UPDATE AVAILABLE" **redownload the version u have access too(do I need to resub? No, Just redownload)**, delete the "**quantv.addon**" u have installed and install the new one **(Part1 for FiveM) ( Part2 for SP and AltV) ** ### FiveM- The File is in Plugins folder - If the this fix doesn't help move the new addon to your desktop and copy it from there to your plugins folder ### Singleplayer/AltV - The file is in the main GTA 5 folder

Hey Mike I noticed on his discord it says for single player to update you only have to delete the quantv.addon file and then install part 2 to recreate it and update the file. I need to update mine since a new version came out today and that's what I had planned on doing when I came across your video here. I don't have the blood mod or the flashlight installed yet so that part doesnt matter but now I wonder if I should reinstall part 1 and part 2 like you did here?
Good question. You could be correct, but to be honest, I have gotten so use to installing both and it only takes me 30 extra seconds lol
The author of the QV modification has become so arrogant that every time an update is required to play normally; other developers of graphic mods don't allow themselves such things. He should stop charging for updates; everyone should stop using this graphics or impose sanctions against him. For example, if I bought the graphics and don't want to update anymore, why should I constantly update and pay $10 for an update? I'm not a rich person.
You dont have to pay for the updates, you only stay subscribed if you want the new features he comes out with each month. If you dont want those after you unsubscribe on patreon the next time it says update available go to his discord and re-download the version you have installed as you will still have access to that version to download again. It will have any bug fixes but no new features and will remove the watermark from your game. Instructions are in his discord on the support channel in the pinned comments up top. Hope this helps!
So the only way I can get the watermark off is either paying again or taking out a file that holds other effects in it?
Not necessarily paying again, just would need to download any update or you can do what I do now and just redownload the month of the update that you last paid for. Once downloaded, just open that Part 2 folder. You will see QuantV_Install.oiv - Rename it to QuantV_Install.zip and then open the zip file and you will see a QuantV.addon throw that in main game directory and should be good. No need to reinstall anything and watermark should be off now, well at least for another 30 days.
It's great information Mike. Especially getting the update to download with that silly 30 second delay.
This is exactly why he keeps getting leaked. He needs to stop being so money hungry. Hes forcing people to delete, not record content, or pay for an updated version every month.
I have to agree with you there. I think updates should be optional.
