PLEASE NOTE AS THIS WAS NOT COVERED IN THE VIDEO: If you use your menus only for Grammar Police and you select "On Scene" it will in fact play the Traffic Stop Audio, so my advice is to select Investigating under your menus For the majority of us that use our microphones, no need to read the info about the menus.

This is covered on this video at 11:55 timestamp but I think you skipped through the video right? IN-GAME: - Press Left Control + F2 (Default Grammar Police Menu) - Go to: PTT Settings > Preference Response DISPATCH RESPONSE OPTIONS: - Preface Response <1> : "This is dispatch send it." - Preface Response <2> : "Go Ahead" or "Go Ahead with your traffic." - Preface Response <3> : "Your Callsign"

if we downloaded bought blueline within the last week, what files are considered add ons from this video, or are they pre-included now?
Maybe some new callout packs etc. If purchased off the shop all updates are free. If you are on Patron and your patron is current and active, you will have access to all updates as well + other mods on the Patron.

Please answer my above question as I can't help you out without knowing what you have installed. You should consider coming by the discord, easier to get help that way.
how do you give citation and get the laptop up
Depends what you have installed. Do you have Compulite, Reportsplus, MDTPro?
I am having trouble accessing PTT SETTINGS Left CTRL and F2 is not working
That is your Grammar Police Default menu. Are you on duty? Did you change these settings in your config by chance? You need to be on duty and have Grammar Police loaded in.
Is there any way I can change dispatch key to my controller?
Yes, you can use any of these keys here for example DPadUp, DPadDown, DPadLeft, DPadRight, Start, Back, LeftThumb, RightThumb, LeftShoulder, RightShoulder
Still hearing default Dispatch and tiny parts of the sentences?
Not with my mod. Old dispatch is 100% removed. You either have Xscanner installed or the dispatch mod installed incorrectly, or another mod conflict. Only way that will happen.
I'm having trouble contacting dispatch. Please help. I don't know why I can't talk to dispatch like you

How do you get your call sign to sound very fluent? When dispatch says my call sign back, its very robotic 'SAM....40....2....'
That is a custom callsign. Not much you can really do with dispatch mods like that as the cadence will always sound a bit off. If you are ever interested in a custom callsign, it now has 30 extra custom audio files. Takes about 1-2 hours on my end to produce that. But it is offered at the $10 tier level. Not trying to sell it, but just thought I would inform you of that option.

Which new audio are you referring to? Are you referring to a custom Callsign? If so, please DM me your Callsign info. You also get another 30 extra custom audio files. Just something new I am doing this year for that tier level.

I'm having an issue I have followed this video and she isn't reading my callsign back like for an instance a traffic stop or enroute it just pops up on the screen.

There could be a number of different things that could cause that. My advice is to post in Opus49's discord. He has his discord linked on the main page of Grammar Police. It will take you to the Immersive Plugins Team. There you will find like minded people troubleshooting grammar police. Easier to see your files on discord.
Hey, Im not sure if im the only one thats experiencing this, not even sure if its something i did on my end or not. anytime i try to open up a grammar police audio file, i dont get any playback whatsoever. originally i found that 686 callouts were not playing any audio in game, so I unloaded that, and in game so far i dont hear anything missing from dispatch. BUT when i try to open one of those audio files separately to see how it sounds, i dont get any playback. Ill admit i still have to watch the full video which im going to do right now, but that just seems very odd to me. plus i plan on installing blue line dispatch, and i worry that this "issue" could effect those files. (P.S. I made sure that it wasnt something with the media player or my audio) havent found anything online to help with this so far so hoping you can shed some light.
and also im not sure if this is normal either but most of my Grammar police audio folders (before installing the traffic stop audio folder) only have less than a handful of audios

Do you have it enabled in your Grammar Police Menu? I cover that on the video. Did you add those phrases in your Priority tone xml file?

I am having an issue where it says "grammar police could not start you are missing required libraries" anyone know how to correct this?
You have installed it incorrectly. All files go into the main game directory. However, you may have an outdated file that you are installing. For example, the RageNativeUi that comes with Grammar Police is outdated. I covered this info in my Grammar Police install tutorial on YouTube. Paste this URL into your browser. Go to your grammar folder that is inside your Grammar Police. For example I use the en-Generic. Go to Commands folder. Look for priority_tone.XML file. Put in other phrases if you like. To learn how to put phrases in, please watch my Grammar Police Part 2 tutorial linked above in this video.

So if i drag all of the new traffic stop xmls in it deletes all my on scene gp caution ones right that say on scene right? is there a way to keep both or
Can't keep both, but you can mix the audio and only replace 10 files for example. if you want dispatch to say "On Scene Reference CAD .... " she will do that on your traffic stop and you can mix the two audio files. Unfortunately there is no way to keep the audio specific to both On Scene and Traffic Stop. Basically the audio replacement replaces that old dispatcher when she says "Approach with Caution" if you remember she did this on Traffic Stops and also when you told dispatch that you were on Scene. She never responded with that when investigation. I was just trying to make things more immersive. Feel free to leave the other audio in and keep the files the same if you like.
Hey, so I am curious, I saw that someone also had the issue were dispatch reads a callsign as SAM Forty Four. You mentioned it being a personalized callsign. Is there anyway I can do that or if you can help me that would be great. Also, I love the videos.
Hey Spuds, currently on the personalized Callsigns, it is set up on the slightly higher tier. It is at $10 on Patreon. Let me know if you are interested. If you do the slightly higher tier, be sure to DM me the callsign you want. Remember it can be anything actually. You are not binded to the norm. For example I have had a GHOST-35, an OWL-8 (ummm yep) and a PHANTOM type callsign. Those are just a few. I can get creative or you can be generic like myself to keep things easy and smooth.

Sounds like a Grammar Police or possibly a PC type issue. I would post this question in Opus49's discord. Hard to troubleshoot over Patreon comments.
anyone know why when i say to dispatch 23- traffic it doesnt put me on a trafic stop. I edited traffic into the notpad++ but does not seem to work.
Dispatch is probably confused. Is your Callsign "23"? If so, did you put that in your preface.xml ?
Veery handy video. Some little things I did not know ^^. When you are calling f.e. code 3, it appears extended pop-up windows with "ETA". Do you remember the mod for it?

Hi Benzo, thanks for the tips it has helped made my LSPDFR game very smooth. I do have one question. My grammar police is running amazing no issue. However, when I try doing push to talk and when dispatch response, there is a one second frame drop. Is there a way to fix that? Otherwise if I have push to talk off there is zero frame drops. Thank you for taking your time to answer my question!
I have heard of this happening before. I have read through Opus49's Discord (maker of Grammar Police) to see if I could find a good answer for this. Opus49 replied back to those that had issues like this and there was not an easy fix as he suggested it is more than likely the Speech Engine itself, and he even suggested to one user to perhaps reinstall Windows. To me that is a pretty drastic approach, but if I find anything else out, I will let you know.

I’m still getting zero sound back from dispatch. Any tips? My stuff looks just like yours in the video
That is very odd, especially since you are the very first person to report that issue. You are not getting any audio from callouts, backup units, pursuits, nothing? If the scanner folder is installed in the exact location, it might be on your end. Meaning something with your PC sound settings as I have never had a single viewer report this.

I have a personalized Callsign so it is read slightly faster and with better cadence. How do you have your Callsign written in your custom.ini? EDIT: It also might help if you actually bought the dispatch mod. Patreon is not showing that you even purchased it. So not sure how I can help you with your question going further. Perhaps you downloaded it from an unauthorized site?
I’m having an issue where when I request a license plate, 10-28, they’re not reading back the plate. They actually aren’t saying anything at all. Love the mod, thank you, and any help is appreciated.

Sorry it took 2 days to respond to this, was having PC hardware issues. To answer your question directly - You would need to have Stop The Ped installed to hear more speech like "Clear, Expired or Warrant, Suspended" You would also need to make sure that you have Plate Check set to "NO" It is discussed on this video directly at the time 29:11 ====================== If you have watched the above part of the video and if you ask for a twenty eight for example, and you are not getting any audio, then you would need to look at your platecheck.xml file. You might not have it set up correctly. If you download mine which is the link in the description, you can see how I have mine set up. I have mine set up as a "Twenty Eight" you would have to be careful saying "Requesting a Ten Twenty Eight" Easier to just have the phrase "Twenty Eight". But go off mine if you like and see how the phrases are set up and just make sure that you are saying "Dispatch - requesting a twenty eight" as an example. If you just say "Requesting twenty eight" it should work, but better to have the preface as Dispatch first in most occasions.
I am having trouble with my voice being picked up in game for the radio to actually respond to me. My mic is connected and everything on my computer says it is connected but when I say my callsign or dispatch I get no response?
Prefaces are all selected correctly? Question: Did you just join Patreon as a free member to ask questions related to the dispatch mod, or just things in general?
I found that when saying "shots fired" it plays the tone but no backup shows up and doesnt change status to emergency
Do you have it set up in your phrases correctly as to which type of backup it is referring to? For example, you can look at my Grammar Folder that I shared above. Those are my current files.

Quick question, I had noticed in your plugins folder instead of call out interface, there is a call out launcher, i didn't know if these were related or separate from each other- or if you still recommended call out interface? I am using Callout Launcher to test and trigger calls. The Callout Interface is nice, but I am also trying to lower the amount of plugins to help save FPS. Taking out Callout Interface, I was able to increase the FPS by about 3-4.

Somehow, when I’m on a traffic stop Dispatch won’t ask me If back up required..
I think Opus49 took that out of Grammar Police now. I am also unable to get that function to work.

Does radio realism add to radio traffic and not over write your dispatch audio if I install it?
It adds a lot of radio traffic. Sometimes the audio might play on top of each other at the very beginning for the first 5-10 seconds. After that, you can expect more info from responding units and dispatch to give out locations and mph
so i actually dont have that subfolder inside gp_caution? EDIT: just read the description
Quick Question: What mods do you use for Graphics/Lighting? I noticed your police lights being bright during the day, would love to get mines to be the same.
Also i've noticed one thing watching this video, i have the same PTT Settings as you but when i hold my push to talk key left alt by default i don't hear a radio sound/noise.

You will have audio on occasion for a Traffic Stop and other occasions it may say you are on scene, if you are okay with that, then yes you can mix them up.

Hey can someone help me, When I call for code 2 backup. they show up but they dont get our the car, they just sit in car, then after a few minutes they drive off. I'm sure I have a setting set wrong somewhere..
Doesn't sound like it is Ultimate Backup showing up, or perhaps there might be something wrong with your Config file for Ultimate Backup. If it happens near Vespucci or near Mission Row, might be just a bug that happens.

You would be correct. Or at least it is a mixture of Female dispatchers from Indianapolis Metropolitan PD that is AI Cloned into a slightly modified version of that.
