June unfortunately isn't happening, Chapter 9 deadline is now July 7th!
Hey guys! I've decided to let go of the hope of releasing the Chapter before July.
I will get you guys a better progress update on June 30th, but I wanted to tell you so you aren't staying up hoping for it to drop any hour.
Truth is I think I could get the chapter out by June 30th, but then I would have to sacrifice play-testing and a final polish-pass, so it isn't worth it.
I also have yet to recieve the code I'm outsourcing and I'm not 100% confident it will get to me lmao. But I've made arrangements to have another coder I know help me out in that scenario. It's just a tiny bit of polish for the scope scene.
I also think the Android file-size-compression/Optimization will have to wait a few more weeks because I haven't gotten to it yet and it carries a risk of wacky bugs all over. I'll release the first Ch9 build on Android at a fairly big file-size of ~ 3gigs.
Another week and It should be in a really good state! Thank you for waiting! ;U;

Why is it I can no longer cancel my membership and am now stuck forever on paid membership? I usually have to join when I can, not all the time, as I receive disability, I am broke 90% of the time and can't always pay, would appreciate being able to cancel membership again

I'll always choose something a little delayed but the creator is satisfied with, over something pushed out to meet a deadline but the creator isn't satisfied with. I knew going in that it'd be months between chapters, the quality makes me happy to wait. (Yes, I've ditched other creators when the releases weren't worth the wait.)
Quality will always come first, so take all the time you need. I know what I'm subscribed for, and that's good art and hard work.
I'm here for the long haul, your work is too good to rush it .
