I'm a little late on this, but I just wanted to say what an excellent ending this was!! Being willing to allow the TPK, but still giving the season a satisfying ending was amazing. I've been absolutely loving these shorter seasons, it's so much fun getting to meet new characters or see new settings every few months.

This episode reminds me of Jvelin in all of the best ways

The stakes have to be real. This was handled beautifully. Amazing work from everyone 💙

I was soooo invested literally hugging my steering wheel sitting at the edge of my seat listening and you wussed out.....Soooo disappointed in you guys 😑 not everything gets a happy ending an happy endings don't always mean a good ending 😑

***TRULY SO MANY SPOILERS*** 10/10 ep, full stop. I have been absolutely ride or die for the Killscreens from the jump - they are truly some of my favorite PCs ever (and I love all the NADDPod PCs). This finale was one I would never have predicted but I wouldn’t change a thing. So many incredible moments: Slug realizing that home is not her town, it’s her found family, and using the chip to try to heal Aux in love instead of using it to attack in anger. Atom going straight at a terrifying monster alone to avenge and protect his friends and then throwing his lot in with them in the end because live or die, he wants them to do it together. Aux’s distress not at the realization of his own death, but at realizing his friends were dead too, but then his relief at knowing they saved their city and had been able to walk through that door together and stay together on the other side. Murph’s flashback description of Slug and Atom watching Aux and Elmer laughing on the airship ride together (I was already crying, but this is when I started ugly sobbing - I am tearing up now just thinking about it - and I basically didn’t stop til the end of the ep). There were lot of curveballs in this ep, and they were perfectly handled by everyone. I can’t imagine that there has ever been a more satisfying TPK. AND we still get to have more adventures with these three maniacs that I love so much - and Elmer! ❤️❤️❤️

holy shit with how much i was dreaming of them making it to the stars i didnt expect them to do it so literally!!! the pirate ship memory metaphor got me good ; A ; i cannot beLieve this is where we get the first tpk, fucking brutal for the one party who distinctly has plans for the future and where they wanna be after the campaign to have that turned on its head. i dont think any other party voiced a specific goal so it's absolutely fucking poetically cruel of the dice to say this is the one :'D thanks so much for a great campaign!! we'll see them in the stars ; v ;

This couldn't have been a more perfect ending. It had that dash of bittersweet tragedy you need in any good cyberpunk story, but with some signature NAADPOD energy. Emily's choice at the end coupled with Murph's improvised bargain really led to a narratively cohesive story beat that I can't wait to see continued in season 2. Certainly the most unexpected finale I think of any of the campaigns so far.

Standing ovation to Murph!!! And of course the Kill Screens! A conclusion worthy of heroes!!

This is the perfect way to end this campaign, because it gives Murph time to build the Crangar afterlife mythos.

What an end, I have not awesome-sad ugly cried like this since watching TTGL ❤️‍🔥 Fingers crossed for an Emily-led mini arc next; it's been great to have the hot-seat rotate, Jake did such an awesome job! Emily's DM style feels very unique and fun. She has such a knack for adapting on the fly to any antics, while keeping the world feeling consistent and grounded. Edit after Short Rest: curses, foiled again! In the best way possible though, so it's fine 🥲

I was a bit reluctant about this campaign at the start because a part of me feels very nostalgic for the Bahumia of old before Mothership (it's just too real lol) but WOW what an incredible season! Amazingly creative encounter design, so many cinematic moments, such great chemistry in the party- the whole thing was just electric!! I'm really digging the energy and experimentation of these shorter format campaigns- can't wait to hear more 🙌🏻

holy shit what a perfect ending. listened to the last half of the ep in my shower and was just yelling "BRIAN!!! BRIAN!!!!" as murph described elmer and aux laughing on the other side of the carnival ride. honestly i think its way more fun that they all died, rather than the administrator chip acting as a deus ex (or aux?) machina. first tpk!!!
