Everyone saying 9 is Insane there is a godamn wild possum on a plane and women who smells like Decomp. That's not even talking about Hardwon who might kill you.

I agree about the Florida of it all, but imagine: this is actually the flight *back* to Vancouver after an Orlando trip. They've just spent a week or two crammed into a too-small hotel room waiting in long lines together and they're already ready to kill each other before they even get on the plane.

Seat 1 is just a normal flight next to a large person.

This plane is not making it to it's destination. Regardless of if someone is between Moonshine and Hardwon they are going to have Bev and Sol in the row with them within the first hour of the flight. They are gunna be popping over the seat constantly to talk to Balnore which is eventually gunna set Jenns off which will draw Nayak and and Onyx in and then you have two lvl 20 parties battling on a plane which is 100% guna destroy the plane.

Was listening to old Mixed Bags and all the Animorphs talk made me want to reread it. Figured I'd get it in Spanish this time (living in Spain now unlike the US when I first read it decades ago) Turns out they only localized the first 25 books! I know that Hardwon and Moonshine are realistically the worst seat but getting the chance to see a literal possum and getting to experience their weird and unusual behavior would be a dream for me. For like the first 30 minutes 😭

The real trap is seat 10 because you know nyack is going to do some weird stuff trying to get either your seat or balnor’s or otherwise trying to climb over you to feed Jens. Also Jens is probably pressing the flight attendant button too much.

I think in seat 5 Beverly will talk to sol about the boy wizard and his frog pal books and it’s a nice conversation. And then you pull out a Nintendo Switch and bev is instantly engrossed, very easy to get along with him. And then while you’re playing Mario party with Beverly, sol spends his time meditating.

So easier going to the bathroom. - I’m curvy so Calder and I can apologize for “taking up too much space” together - I’m wear layers on flight and prefer cold over heat any day. - Fia is behind me and in a little ball- I get to recline my seat without bothering her. - penny might talk caldera war off but I have several pairs of noise cancelling headphones. - if the first seats gets usually doesn’t have a tv, no prob. I have my phone, iPod, and kindle. - fast exit from that plane when everyone behind me takes their sweet time getting their luggage. - window seat. If I get a migraine it gets to stay closed. - if I get a migraine I can angle my body closer to Calder, my forever ice pack

I think sitting next to Beverly is the biggest trap. Not only is he too sincere to realize he's annoying but you have to remember rapport spores. If you upset Beverly or tell him to shit up moonshine is definitely casting a spell on you. The Band of Boobs have killed for less.

1 would be mostly a dream on this plane of nightmares, but I can't even get comfy in the aisle seat so this would be untenable for me. Probably would have to go with 3 and just hope the Boobs' shenanigans would only remain a show for me, rather than getting drawn into it. I would be hoping for an interaction with Pawpaw tho

So funny - 6 and 9 are definitely my top picks With 6 I’m slamming peanut butter stouts and singing pop-punk karaoke, and when there’s drama I’m completely disassociating. I arrive hung over and with a hoarse voice. I say I’m going to join them for chicken sandwiches, but then immediately bail 9? I am also talking the whole time. I’ll interview Hardwon and Moonshine for 8 hours in the smell zone, that’s fine

I think Hungry Dave is forced to rawdog the flight because he only brought his phone with the FF8 emulator and his phone just couldn't handle it.

I think the 2 Crew, in their assessment of 8, underestimated how much Nyack is gonna make you stand up so he can go look at Jens. I also think that Bev and Sol aren't as bad as they think, because Balnor's close enough to yell "Bev, knock it off" once that situation hit a critical mass. It's still not good for how bad it has to get, plus you're watching a kid get yelled at by his dad, which is never pleasant, but I do think Bev and Sol are "good kid" enough to actually be OK for the rest of the flight once they got yelled at.

This makes me want to see a series of crossover one-shots where three of yall play a meeting of one of y’all’s characters. Sol, Bev, and Zirk. Moonshine, Fia, and Calliope.

I think I may fall for the trap and pick 4. I think as a teacher I’d actually have a fun time w Bev bc he seems like a good kid. If at any point they really get too rough for me, I think the two of them would immediately switch into Boy Scout mode and call down.

Here’s my play for n°9, as a woman I just hope that I’m the right kind of attractive to make both Moonshine and Hardwon fall for me and then I can spend 8 hours having two legendary heroes fawning over me and trying to impress me. Also Balnor’s behind me so I can deffo recline my seat. Otherwise my top picks are 1 and 5. 1 because I like being at the front of the plane and I like window seats, Fia is balled up tight behind me so I can recline, and Calder’s size actually shields me from the Penny/Mavid drama and the Mac and Tread situation (as well as the potential Mac/Mavid/Penny/Tread clash, I think at least Mac might think Penny’s awesome which would make Mavid really jealous) And 5 because I think I could engage with Bev and Sol.

The possibility of any characters choosing to sky-dive, and/or join the mile high club.

As a teen boy, seat 5 would be a DREAM. I would have so much fun with those two it would be a story i tell to my grandkids. “Gather round kids! Let me tell you about the time I was on an eight hour flight with a magic boy scout and a talking frog…”

I absolutely adore Callie so I would gladly deal with being anywhere near Mac and Tread

I think my top seat is seat 7. There's drama but it's low stakes enough that I feel like I could put up with it. Physical discomfort is a much harder barrier for me to get over. I think Nyack is focussed backwards and you barely notice him. Mac and Tread are fighting, but both are so image conscious that they're doing it quietly. I think within the first hour Onyx says something to Callie and then all you really need to deal with is Callie venting to you, which while not ideal is better than physical discomfort to me.

I don't trust the triplets not to switch seats mid flight.

IMO zirk has been told no bombs on an airplane, and he misunderstands that to be it’s impossible to make a bomb on an airplane, so he’ll try to make one using sodas, mini bottles of alcohol, piss, and electronics. Just so he can say “see I can make one” before the Air Marshall tackles him

It's hard to pick where to sit. I think its a hot take. But I would glady sit by moonshine and hardwon. I love them both doesn't matter on the smell would glady chat with them for the whole flight. Wouldn't care if bev or sol join us. They're my heroes. And I get to sit by balnor and hank too

I was listening to one of the other GOAT mixed bags, the first DnD movie, and I realized that surely Atom changes Slug to Slugs because of the amazing character Snails who was a nailed on inspiration for the campaign surely.

Hot take but 6 is my number one pick tied with 3. I don’t think Mac and Tread are nearly that bad, especially if they are on their way to a fun destination. Within 90 minutes I’m drinking beers with them and talking about blink-182. Worst case, there is drama between them which I think would be funny as hell because I have no stakes in it. Now if they are on their way home after a disastrous boys weekend… well I’m putting on headphones and hoping for the best but probably getting sucked into mediating. Either way I think it would be funny. Someone refusing to let me use the bathroom or get food/drinks would be an actual nightmare. The cross talk between onyx and nyack would also be way more annoying. The triplets are actual selfish sociopaths, the hot-boys argue but have heart.

8 is 100% the best. You are out of Onyx's sight so she'll never notice you, Hank is a wall, and Moonshine means you get to pet an animal.

Sure he puts on the shades and stares out the window the whole flight, but just think about how many people are trying to get his attention the throughout the flight. At some point Mac and Tred will be over there to get him to referee their argument and thats only after hours of Hardone and Moonshine yelling across the plane, "Hey is that Mavrus over there!?".

Like there's a non-zero chance Ill-Luck Henry gets us all Final Destinationed. And on a topical note: one of the Bon Freres definitely thought it would be funny to name Mac's bluetooth headphones Bomb and the flight gets diverted four hours in. I truly think this flight might be worse than the nightmare verse. Incredible.

this was such a delight thank yall for doing it!!! my personal pick was 1, because im small and wouldnt mind being squished into the window also, some extra trap elements we considered when building out the flight was “who will get up a lot and who will bother other people”— tread and mac would constantly be going over to bother mavrus and dave, making 3 worse, nyack would constantly be getting up to bother jens, making 8 and 10 worse, and frankie will get up constantly to pee

I’m absolutely shoes off on a flight. Wayyyy too long for shoes. In fact usually I wear the bulkiest shoes that I’m bringing on that trip (to avoid having to pack them) and then bring a pair of slides in my backpack that I can switch into for the flight and leave the shoes under the seat in front of me.

Just like me, Zirk would go to open the tiny creamer just to have it shoot out onto the person next to you.
