Murph, after listening to this for the upteenth time, I think it makes sense that Mac doesn't work for his parents. Mac is constantly rebuking his brewing lineage in the first arc, and forging his own way, so it tracks that he would opt out of a job at the family brewery and try to do his own thing. And of course it didn't work out yet, so he is picking up shifts at the Piggy Wiggly now. Awesome chacter development :)
i agree with murph, at 50:07 of Part 2, jake going "Okay, I come out of invisibility, "So to recap: since we've been here we've been covered in shit, sprayed with seltzer, Mac got a hug, and we talked to my dad. Why is this an interesting party place for us to fucking go?" I lost my shittt so fucking funny in Tread's voice

If you're looking for other stuff to replay over the next several weeks, might I suggest the Solstice one-shot that Emily did as a Mixed Bag yeears ago. I recently discovered it in the Mixed Bag feed and I absolutely LOVED it!
It would need someone to do another pass on the audio though. It just constantly jumps from dead quiet to deafening.

Pure speculation here but since Zac was on dungeon court recently and releasing hot boy summer. I really hope it’s setting us up for the next chapter of the most toxic best friends ever!! I hope it’s a ski weekend over winter break.

The first arc of the HBS Mavrus chronicles did have short rests but they didn’t do short rests for this blazing babe saga until now

honestly they're at their funniest when reacting to the consequences of their actions and discovering all the fun things she had planned for them if they had just been good HBS' but they didnt. Frankly as cool as everything was she had planned, im so obsessed with how much they made out of the stupid choices like the mega bike and vegetable tent. Hot boys are primo when they're whining

If you weren’t able to afford the payment (no shame and not bullying, I’m regularly having to wait a week extra sometimes) it won’t play. I usually have to delete and redownload the RSS feed 2 times a year too. Maybe close the app fully? I’m trying to think of all options
