OC Animation WIP 2

Hi everyone, here is the second WIP for the OC animation!

It's been a while since the last update on this. I was occupied with other things during December and January, but I've started chipping away at it again since February. This update is covering the third storyboard page which has the first action scene!

I've never really animated something fast paced and impactful like this so it did take a bit of figuring out. I was looking at a lot of other animations to try and see how other people do it and some of the big things I noticed was fast camera movement, quick cuts, smear frames, and using the environment to create a scene of speed and scale.

Having the characters move around a lot contrasts with the static background and gives a strong sense of motion with the camera panning to follow, especially if its a little bit delayed.
I feel like this really is the main thing, with the quick cuts and smears adding to it.

I tried not to go too overboard with this part, partly due to lack of experience, and partly becuase I want to buildup to some of the more climactic action scenes later on the animation.

After looking back at the last part, there are a few things that I want to rework too, specifically from the 32 second mark and onwards since I feel like some parts dont really flow that well. I'll try and handle that before moving on to the next part.

I was bouncing between this and Burnice a bunch last month so I didn't end up getting an update ready on either animation to post. I'm aiming to get an update out on Burnice later this month so please look forward to that as well.
