I'm happy he admitted it in a moment of earnest passion tbh, felt organic and honest of him. Was worried you'd make him try to shoehorn it in! He IS an awkward doofus, so the alternative was just as likely.
Yeah I considered that it would have been very natural for him to try and bring it up and Cindy changing the subject... but that would have resulted in disaster for him no matter how you look at it lol and I didn't want this to go in that direction.
