I love this story and am happy wherever it goes. The character development and interaction has been consistently surprising and delightful. At the same time I hope pray and humbly request that at some time, in some format, Cindy goes on a massive binge. She’s clearly capable of it! And deserves it after all this trouble
In the meantime i am really curious what cindy is thinking in that last panel!
Clearly the next logical step here is that all her clothes get dirty and she has to wear nothing but the apron. I've seen Highschool of the Dead thank you very much
Idk at this point she seems like a bit of a masochist. Clearly it don't fit sis, it's gonna bust off at any point.
If you think about it she already has an apron....apron belly that is.

I can't tell if this is going to be a hate thing or if she is eventually going to ease up to him, either way, it isn't looking good for Connor. Poor guy just wants to slam some chub
Maybe it's a Reverse-Chernobyl: - Connor can't even talk to her at first - Connor stumbles through their first conversations and accidentally calls her fat - Connor accidentally causes her a wardrobe malfunction + Connor calms down and provides help or reassurance + Connor and Cindy take care of the problem at hand with Sannah, building some confidence + Connor and Cindy discover that they have a similar sense of humor or recent life experience + Connor and Cindy both admit that they are confused about how to feel / react to her recent weight gain + Connor and Cindy start to flirt a bit once the ice is broken Except instead of an awful explosion at the end, there's chub-love...
