Would you buy a physical copy of NLB for 30-40$?
I want to see how many people would actually be interested in a book so I know how big of a print to get.
Remember that this is 250-pages which is more than the usual page count for standard single manga volumes. Hence the printing costs will be quite high. I also plan to make it slightly larger than standard but still with a soft cover.

Don't tempt me ;-; I've been looking to get a belly-mousepad for ages but it's impossible to find custom ones outside of japan.

I would absolutely love to have a copy, but I would really like to keep my fat fetish a secret from the people I know irl, and the less physical evidence I have, the better. However, if you made t-shirts, tote bags, and other type of merchandise with subtle designs inspired in your characters without explicit fats, I WOULD CONSIDER BUYING THAT! And most of us would appreciate that type of merchandise because 1. We will be supporting your work. 2. We won鈥檛 need to hide your merchandise! Instead, we would proudly use it in our daily lives without worrying about anyone finding out we like fatties. ...Unless they tried to dig deeper on finding out where those characters come from, but in my experience most people just ask for the sake of conversation but don鈥檛 search for it later.
Besides, it could help us identify each other in the streets! Think about it~ It would be like a secret code only Kip fans would recognize LOL
I would absolutely love to buy it, I have been thinking about it for probably the entire running of this series! However I think I would be so stressed out that someone would find it, and would not be able to stop thinking about that factor of it. And being the werido that I am, I think about what would happen if I move or start a family and one of my kids or significant other finds it, how that would all go down. And I don't want to have to throw it away to get rid of evidence of me having it! So tldr: yes and no
Tbh I wasn't sure about getting a physical book, cuz i'd die of embarrassment. The last update tho with how cute the relationship it was just too wholesome. Plus getting it would be a great way to show support!
Didn't comment earlier, but that doesn't seem an unreasonable price for a custom print. I love your art & stories, so I would definitely be interested. I've mostly transitioned to digital, but it's cool having favorite stuff in physical.
I would gladly buy a volume of this if at all else to support you. This comic has been amazing and very high quality. I know a couple people in my area that are interested as well so good luck with the print. I'm just more curious what would be the cover or would you use the front cover you made in the beginning of No Lunch? I look forward to it either way!

Yeah I'm very aware of this issue, it's why I hesitated on this in the first place but seems there's a fair amount of people interested in it anyway.
Depends if it is Color/BW, the paper type, how chonky/big the book is, any slight revisions to art you weren't fully satisfied originally cause of time constraints. Heck id probably buy it anyway just cause the thiccc

Maybe take orders from a handful of people? I'm a digital media type person so I don't see the appeal, but I can understand some people wanting a copy they can hold in their hands.
If more than a couple hundred are interested I'll definitely need to get a print. There's a certain quality to having a physical quality as a collective item that I totally understand, it's not for convenience.
I'll certainly buy one for that price, but I worry about the logistics of arranging deliveries around the world.
That's gonna be my problem, but hopefully I will find a relatively easy solution.

That's a bit on the edge because I don't know if it can cover the costs yet... but I'll try to make it as cheap as possible. Sadly printing small batches is very expensive.
