I worked in customer service for 2 years. I'm back to IT support again now thank god. I can attest that customer service is a completely soul sucking job 95% of the time. I even worked for a company in a industry I like. You nailed the type of calls you get though Kip. People are the fucking worst. I wouldn't say I was ever a optimist but I'm definitely way more cynical now because of it. What's the back story on super 1337 hacker Sandy? I mean she manipulated everyone's phones and data like it was nothing. She pick that up on the mean streets too? I was a little sad to be honest when Sandy became the villain and a mice eating crazy person lol. I related to her at the beginning because she was in customer service and that place is hell.
Sorry to hear that! I feel like the reason customer service jobs suck so much is because you only get the worst of people. 90% of customers are nice and content but only the people with problems complain, so your worldview becomes completely colored by the idiots. This happens to me too on deviantart. Customer service workers are everyday heroes, I have lots of respect for them. Ohh and her hacker side is just her being solitary and spending time on the internet in bad company learning skills to fuck up everyone else.
This duality has me fantasizing about a story where the main character has a sleep eating disorder. But no memory of what happens at night so she keeps waking up bloated+heavier over time with no idea why. Then the personalities start merging. Just spitballing ideas for the future kip.

Who is that weird stick figure in the last panel? She looks cool and respectable.
You know, an even more tragic thing about her character is that the people she took her anger out on... were the worst possible pick for it. I mean, given how they accepted each-other's weird quirks, they'd probably have accepted her into their little group of oddballs, too. They were the people most likely to accept her, but she (or at least her "dark side") got so blinded by spite and envy that she's possibly pissed away her chance to have the friends she wanted without even realizing it. My only question now is... will she still have a chance to salvage that, now?
Yeah, it was like that on purpose. If you're that bitter you kind of hate the people that resemble yourself the most.

Aww don't make us feel sorry for her! She manipulated everyone and kidnapped somebody! Just because anyone who ever called for support is an even bigger monster doesn't justify that.

Still despise her vindictive half, but this makes us genuinely sorry for the poor girl she used to be. She might be too far gone at this point, but personally hope she can be fixed, that she can become the seemingly sweet, shy girl she started off as.
