Here’s how much content piracy hurts small creators like me…

I found a website last night, that left me feeling wrought, distraught, traumatized, especially because I recognize names in the forum that allowed and perpetuated this to go on.

7 years ago I broadcast uploads of my hobby, I shared it for fun, it was free for me to do so, but the traffic I got on the advertising enabled me to purchase new swimsuits.

Then something happened, I was demonetized, my videos were being flagged as adult content and the ad revenue - even though YT was still displaying ads, was not duly being passed to me. So… I stopped uploading. If my hobby was being demonized as “adult play” and the view count was earning YouTube money but not paying for my swimsuits, I couldn’t afford to buy new swimsuits, and I didn’t want to post my films anymore.

I figured YouTube algorithms were just ripping me off, followers and views weren’t paying my rent. I was paying extra rent to have a place with a pool. And the building manager turned off the pool heating. I couldn’t even afford to contribute extra towards heating the pool at my own apartment complex.

I forgot about it.

Years went by and I restarted my YouTube PURELY TO LIVE MY AQUAFUN. But again, my videos kept being demonetized, I would earn $3 in ad revenue before the video was demonetized so each video I uploaded was paying less before it was being shut down from ad revenue.

Yahoo bought a video from me for $100 to cream off the traffic, so I knew something was up. If rumble media and yahoo were offering me $100 a video, WHY WAS MY CHANNEL being constantly penalized? Demonetized. Maximum revenue per video was going down from $20, to $3 per video before it would stop earning completely. I was having to upload content every week to feed YouTube - and get maybe $60 a month… and it was declining even though I was producing more.

I recycled old suits, I couldn’t afford to buy new expensive $200 realise swimsuits. My particular favorite are costly and well made.

Fast forward to last night. When I discovered a total tabulation of 11,238 downloads of my videos, across 30 videos, over the last 7 years. And things started to sink in.

When YouTube detects ratios of male audience are behaving the same, it restricts content as ADULT in nature. This is not my fault. So by advertising my videos on this site, these Aqua fans were causing my content to get flagged as erotic content.

Secondly when my content is flagged as erotic content, it counts as a persistent violation of YouTube rules, I accrue strikes, and my channel will eventually go down. Erotic content is not allowed, and even if I argue it, YouRube algorithms say: but look your fans are male and behaving similarly; therefore you are porn. They try to get rid of pornographic intent by preventing any labelled videos from earning money. So through no fault of my own, I was being eye-raped, and having my content STOLEN FROM ME. Distributed for free. And because fans aren’t viewing my content on YouTube, I additionally lose revenue.

I never knew any of this was happening. I set up Patreon. I still didn’t know about any aquafans site. I enjoy doing what I do, and this community has effectively shut down my hobby. I can’t go public with it anymore. I can’t share it Publicly, and It doesn’t remunerate me to do so, it actually disfigures my image, more than doing sex work on OnlyFans.

I’m distraught. Agonized. I’ve been wondering why my content after it was banned from YouTube was still being flagged on YouTube, demonetized, demonized as adult content, and worse, I never broke even. I’ve had a few months where I made a little extra, but the other slow months cancelled out with my overheads.

So, underwater content is staying here. Not OnlyFans that’s my sexual outlet. Here is underwater and swimming stuff only. None of my swimming content is going to be public anymore. I will be privating it from YouTube and deleting it.

I have made significant progress in my recovery and even production value, but it has been so disrespected and cost me. I’ll be livestreaming here only. Bathing suit stuff can’t be live-streamed publicly at all. I’ll be livestreaming swimming fun through this coming hot weekend to get used to the new HD server. I’ll be looking at getting an underwater snake camera to dangle in the pool.

11,280 downloads, of videos that could have earned me $112,000 over the last 7 years. And what really hurts is these videos were not pornographic but being hosted and given away for free and promoting traffic on a soft porn website.

I reported the site to ic3 FBI with my lawyer. And submitted all the names on the thread that allowed it to go on for years. This has really hurt me. It caused my last youtube to go down, and now I know my current YouTube is going offline aswell.

Over the Next few days I’ll be experimenting with my private livestream server. And I’m sorry I turned this into a rant thread, I just wanted you to be aware, that I have been deeply harmed from my harmless elegant hobby, by disrespectful people ripping and distributing my content in soft porn forums. That was never the intent of any of my swimming videos.
