Pre-recorded Livestreams on YouTube
To actually see me LIVESTREAM actually Live and I get act with me, I do the actual stream on my FB. I’ve never encouraged people to follow me on FB, because that’s not why I’m on Facebook.
So, really, please don’t follow me there, I get that you want to, but that’s my personal space. I livestream there in very raw format, and I double up the camera work, and put in all the clean up and editing to produce a higher quality pre-recorded livestream - with cut-in footage and accurate timers and overlays.
Just because I’m on Facebook, doesn’t mean I want to be accountable to Facebook and produce content FOR Facebook. If I get the sense my content could bump up against rules, I will DELETE my stream after downloading it to be safe. It’s just a tool for me to produce content, and I prefer the interaction I get off Facebook to come from more women rather than admirers. It actually helps me to show that I have a female following (which I actually DON’T have on YouTube!)
So really, you are not missing anything if you miss a stream I’m experimenting with on different platforms.
I’m struggling with keeping “platforms” supplied with content, that totally distracts me from what I’m actually producing. I enjoy playing, but it’s all part of improving my performance and choreography towards my next art video - and right now I need to get ahead on production work, not bullshitting around supplying platforms with edited content that doesn’t actually pay me.
Raw-form streaming can only happen on my own paid-server, which I can’t afford. It’s not my main mojo, having to censor and keep things safe for public-facing platforms is just a drag on my personal well-being and time management.
I only do it, to garner new traffic and subs that convert to Patreon. This whole hullabaloo just to get the cashflow going to make my art films actually delays me. So I’m going to look for grants for female entrepreneurs so I can just get the injection I need without having to waste my time all over social media posting this kind of time sucking garbage.
