New Playable Update Concern

I wanted to tell you that your game is highly anticipated here in Brazil, several YouTubers who managed to play Barnaby and Fantoccio's demos loved your game, a Youtuber here in Brazil posted both demos and loved it, we are excited about your game so much so that a Dub Br already translated their songs and they were very good Ícone "Verificada pela comunidade"

I think it's great, the changes are important

I dont know if mine is just broke but I’ve only got the testing map I’m missing everything else

I think its fine, but will be nice if maybe older versions could go into the Steam beta branch so can roll back to view the older version ^^ not only for opening but also just seeing versions as they change

This is fine. The final build will have the manor but this is just the playtest. It’s not ready so it doesn’t need to be playable right now

Yeah, that would be okay, this builds isn't supposed to be the actual game anyway, it is a test playable builds and there's no point in testing something, that isn't created yet, so I think it's completely fine to delete this part.

It'd be a bit weird. Maybe keeping some parts of the manor but a much shorter walk that eliminates the parkour?

Totally understandable! As much as I liked the opening segment of Barnaby's Manor, after replaying it dozens of times it's an just an annoying obstacle in a very narrow space.

Is it possible to keep the manor and still add the Oscar stuff? If not I think my vote would be get the update in, since the manor part then only serves to show the general platforming mechanics and general vibe of Barnaby's level, both of which are covered by other aspects of the demo. At least, that's my own view and opinion on it.

I'm personally OK with either way as long as I can try moving Oscar around. While I do like looking at the manor it's OK to cut it out and other bits in my opinion if you need to as it's old.

I have no idea how it works, but Steam allows for different branches of games. A VR game I play, Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, lets you swap between having the latest full update, the weekly beta builds, and sometimes the previous full update if the latest breaks mods.

Actually now that I think about it, when the update goes live should we expect a certain animation focusing on goat ears to be implemented?

I'm fine with it. It's 'only' a playable teaser/demo for a inner circle and not for the public.
