There's no status update this week because I'm dealing with a case of identity theft, which is halting development.
A user on itch.io is impersonating me and selling my games illegally under the name "drpinkcakegame".
If you bought the game on itch.io, you might have downloaded malware. Those versions aren't mine. I'd recommend you delete what you bought, demand a refund, and report the game to staff on itch.io.
I'm trying to reach itch.io about this, but they are acting very slow, and the whole situation has given me insomnia and is making me feel deflated and disgusted to the point that I'm not fit to work.
You can help me by reporting drpinkcakegame on itch.io for copyright infringement, theft, and fraud.
My apologies to anyone who bought the game from itch.io thinking it was the real deal. What saddens me the most is how this scammer is fooling honest customers/players/fans with a cracked product and fake communication pretending to be me.
My games are only allowed for resale on Patreon, Steam, and GOG.com with the handle "DrPinkCake".
My only social media outlet is twitter.com/DrPinkCake
My only discord server is https://discord.gg/KyCc5E4
Anything else that uses my name or product names is fake, not endorsed, and/or doesn't come from me.

EDIT. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for reporting him to the point that his links are removed. I don't know if it's permanent or just an automatic response to the reports, and I still want answers from itch.io about this. His main page (gender assuming at its finest) is still up, and you can report that too. I didn't even get the time to post a public tweet about it before the links were gone. You guys are the best.

Think twice before reporting an official complaint about identity theft... Once you report this once you may have a harder time with custom every time you need to cross a border and during every identity check you face... It's a real pain.

Would likely be useful to email support@itch.io to report the creator page as well. Still in theft of DPC's personal work to misrepresent it as their property.
I reported that one this morning and it now contains a link to this page on Patreon.
I clicked every report button I could find and reported it. I saved the report actions as well

About 2-3 minutes ago I could see the games on that "creator's" page, but now they're not showing. So something is definitely happening.
All the games got pulled and are giving 404 errors now.

There are more and more scam pages on itch.to lately. I reported a scam for another creator I follow just last week.
That's disgusting. I'm sorry to hear this. I just went over and reported all 3 games on itch.io as not authorized to distribute and demanded that they take the page down.

I suggest you simpler to contact DMCA for this, and using a legion of juridic specialists, you ONLY can win this situation. Some people have audacity to steal you, snatch their head until their last breathe. In all cases , this situation is special, you are the source of the game they are just fake copies it shouldnt affect you badly, and I think now you re enough rich to engage enough advocates to hunt them across all the universe, just never give up in this situation, it just should make you more popular, their current gain is just a step, you will get it back when all this should be finished. It should finally just make your name more popular. Scammers never win. You are the only one able to develop updates so, don't worry seriously about it, dont let it affect the main line of your work, consider this like a noisy neighbor until he will be kicked out.

You can find it if you search Google for it. I didn't find it by searching in itch.io but when I searched Google, I found the page and reported the games.

Yes, and you should. *To clarify: you can't report the user page, but you can report the games that they have there. You have to click each game and then scroll to the very bottom of the page to find the tiny "Report" link.
