Lowered the volume of the intro splash screen and made its sound level controlled by the SFX channel.
Set the powersave option to disabled by default to favor performance over energy settings.
Updated the money system backend.
Replaced the animations for the main girl episode report and updated the design.
Added a presplash loading image.
Added a skip 5 pages at the time button for the Save/Load screen.
Disabled right-clicking the Skip button to skip to the next choice.
The middle-mouse button now brings up the in-game phone and can be used to close any children menu of the phone.
The quick menu will be hidden when using the phone and restored when closing the phone.
Fixed an issue with autosaving, causing a lag spike during choices during animations.
To reduce lag, autosaving is now less frequent. There's an option in the Preferences menu to remove Autosaving and thus remove lag spikes.
Fixed a rare bug with Shuffle.
Fixed a bug where you could repeatedly talk to Nick during the free-roam event at the DIKs in episode 6.
Fixed a bug in episode 6 where Jill's piano scene wouldn't play if you chose to sit with Sage & Quinn for lunch and wasn't Sage's fuck buddy.
Fixed a bug in episode 3 where Quinn's text message would cause an error if you entered and exited Jill's chat first.
Fixed a bug with the episode report for Jill in episode 6.
Fixed an issue where playing a song for the bushes in Dungeons and Gremlins didn't show Moria appearing.
Fixed an issue with a special render causing Tommy to disappear momentarily in the first free-roam event of episode 6.
Fixed an issue with the oversized text for a subset of work tasks in the mansion mini-game.
Corrected typos in episodes 1-6

Quick question for the Dr... recent laptop update due to bricking old one. Should I download what's there or wait for episode 7 (no rush) for ease of getting started?
Can't answer for DPC, but I likely downloading version 6.1 now and then downloading the episode 7 update when it's released will allow you to play sooner than downloading the entire game (with 7 included) upon release. Depends on how eager you are to play once the new update it available.
Just wanted to say your games have best sex animations it's like other developers do not want to put in the same work to make the scenes better. Anyway keep up the excellent work Bill and Ted style.
Jean i think once episode 8 is done that completes season 2 and thats when it should be on steam. ATM I am waiting on episde 7 to hit tier 1 so i can play it!! =) i hate waiting GAH!!!!
Id like to know when season 2 will be release on steam. I guess season 2 will end at episode 8?
that depends how many episodes there's going to be season 2 but if its 4 eps a season then yes

how can we be a beta tester?
read the answers to the same question asked already two times above: you can't. It's a closed group only.
I have been playing this game in 48 hour spurts, with very little sleep for the past two weeks. Replay-ability is bonkers. I am really hoping for more story with nicole, sandy, nora and the like. The ending of ep6 hits home for me in a good way when i was in my teens. Good memories.
Keep up the great work DPC, can't wait to see what you have in store for us in this episode.

Hey, great Job Dr.Pinkcake. Once again your work ethic always impresses me. As an aspiring developer myself, I understand it's difficult to make these things, yet you always kept pushing forward. As much as everyone gives thanks to you, also understand to take rest and time off and take care of your mental health. Thank for your time and effort to please your fans.
Is it possible if DPC focuses on producing the storyline when he can hire developers to produce lewd scenes only? So the future episodes can be produced faster?
No, I don't think so. And as far as I know it's for the best. He want's to make everything himself and with this level of quality... some extra time is a small price)

Dr. Pink Cake has a closed beta test to a team of trusted testers. It doesn't take too long, and we get a much more stable product on release.

Undoubtedly incredible. But one thing at a time, bruh. The good doctor is already pulling huge shifts every day, and adding to that will just delay each release that much more. That's the kind of thing that can wait until after the story's finished, imho.
