This is the plugin I’ve been showing you. It adds mechanical and electrical failures to your truck, with warnings before the fault develops.

There are currently 10: starter, fuel pump, engine electronics, alternator, battery, wiper motor, cruise control, high beams, lighting circuit and retarder.

When something fails, you have two options:

Fix it yourself — takes less time, but the attempt can fail. The chance depends on what’s broken.

Call roadside assistance — takes longer, but repairs the active TBX faults once the game confirms the time change.

During the repair, you hold E to complete each step, including undoing and tightening the individual bolts. Afterwards, you get an invoice showing the result and press F7 to sign it.

F6 opens the menu. Everything works with the arrow keys and Enter.

To install, close ETS2 and copy the contents of the included plugins folder into bin/win_x64/plugins. You don’t need a separate telemetry server. If you’re updating, keep your existing TBX/data folder.

the time skip needs g_console and g_developer enabled.

A few things before you download:

• Repair costs are simulated for now. They don’t take money from your account.
• The plugin repairs its own faults, not the game’s normal damage.
• It’s for single-player, Windows x64 and DirectX 11. Quick Jobs are excluded.
• Modded trucks can work, but they need to provide the relevant telemetry.
• Automated tests passed, but I’m not claiming every truck, mod combination or game setup has been tested.
