Your video is great and will help people think about the maths behind a physical phenomenon. your explanations are great and the bloody maths is horrible. Calculus should be kept out of real life as much as possible.

I think you need a mathematical consultant. A bit of calculus and bingo you can prove what you have said. Oh and add moments of inertia etc

I had thought to avoid turning the video into a physics lesson, but perhaps it would have been better to go the whole hog and do just that.
