A rambling video about friars, guilds, medieval cookery, herbalism, and what counted as 'fish'
I was invited by a local restaurant which is in an old friary to go along and do some medieval cookery. I said 'yes'.
While I was at it, I talked about friars. Tangents were involved.

Yes, I was hazy on the difference between monks and friars, so I paused the video to check. I should have known that would be unnecessary.

A great video to watch before I cook dinner for the Mem Sahib. She liked the recipes but she's still getting stirfry tonight regardless.

Another fantastic video! I will never tire of learning history, particularly medieval history. Learned a lot from this video. Couldn't quite place that accent from the chef, where is he from?
