Disc jockeys - why are they so often so very very bad?
I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I recorded it in eleven chunks. Each chunk seemed fine to me, but when they are all edited into one long string, it seems a bit much. When the chunks are small, I can launch into each with gusto, and sustain it fairly well. Trouble is, a great length of gusto is... well, you can decide. I always noticed that when I did hour-long videos in one shot, that at around the two-thirds mark I would flag a bit, and when editing, I found that slump a bit cringe-inducing. Seeing this and others like it, I'm beginning to think that the slump plays a valuable part in the pacing of a video.
Anyway, here it is.

One of the best commercial breaks you've done :D
hahahahahahahahahaha, i know folks like this
We liked it, especially as we are planning our wedding. The sectioning of the video plus the 'intervals' and costume changes made it very easy to watch nonstop.
My Cornish sister married a man from Bristol. About half way through the evening the DJ opened up for requests. His family requested 3 Wurzels songs (Combine Harvester, Blackbird and Cider Drinker) one-after-the-other. My sister was mortified. Some times the crowd is more tone-deaf than the DJ.
That was a tour-de-force! The changing settings/outfits maintained engagement, and each point was strongly argued. I wholeheartedly agree, perhaps because my own wedding fell victim to the very behaviour you describe.
I am irritated by many of the same things but much less.
Funny video! I would argue there are superstar DJs people paying to see in EDM music but otherwise spot on!
