Gladiators - fighting to entertain the mob
At long last! This one took a while. One could use the word 'epic' in that it is longer than many feature films, or one could just use the word 'long', which is certainly true.
Possibly it should have been three videos not one. Actually, I'd be interested to know your opinion on that.

Three sittings may have been more useful at sustaining the circulation in my arm after the young lady in my life conked out after 20 mins and fell asleep with my arm around her. Excellent and entertaining but three uploads gets my vote.
We made it though.. ..in 3 sittings.
Well done!
Actually you CAN gamble on fixed outcome sports like entertainment wrestling. Bookmakers don't care because they adjust the odds based on the bets. They're gonna make money regardless of the winner. You better beleive that yes, people who know the outcome sell that information somewhere. For everyone else, it's a game of guessing the intentions of the organizer, and there's always a risk of being Vizzinied.
Genius Lloyd. I think you're right!
Split it next time please, I can't give 2 hours at a time but I can sneak off from the family for 40 mins before I'm found.
If I'd known, it would have been three videos! Alas, a limitation of the one-take format is that splitting it later doesn't work so well.
I thought you were going to conclude that gladiators substituted for one another, which the helmets would have enabled! I think you're on to *something* there - not sure I buy the comparison to soldiers' helmets though, as that could be explained by their different situations; peripheral vision and not covering your ears might be valued on the battlefield but not for an arena duellist who only faces a single foe at a time.
But it was not always duels! Much of their bodies were naked, so substitution would be tricky even with the helmets. Besides, if a star gladiator who had been substituted died, then what use is the still-alive star?
Wow. It was long for even your standards. If it'd be boring, I'd just stopped watching. Good job I'd say!
Thanks Lloyd! I'll take your content however it comes. I am, surprisingly (unto myself), capable of consuming it in as many bits as seems fitting at that particular time.
Wow, that's surely the longest one yet. Glorious.
I'm watching now. There are certainly advantages to both splitting videos and making what amounts to basically a documentary. Personally my preference would be split videos (if it's feasible for editing it that way) but I'm happy either way
