Why use clips when you can use magazines?
This one was shot a while ago in Switzerland. My host, whose rifles I was using, was standing behind the camera, which you might be able to tell.

Will you make more Crossfire-videos? I just ordered the rules and am building WW2 terrain as we speak.
I learned something!
Before I watch - My understanding is that a) if you lose your last magazine, you can only single-load your rifle, whereas a clip-fed rifle has a fixed magazine that can't be lost, and b) clips are cheaper to make than magazines, and thus more disposable. The American military had problems with the initial rollout of the M-16 in part because the magazines were not durable enough for heavy re-use (they were initially going to be disposable).
Great video Lloyd. Well explained and presented but could you please remember to breathe more often. I think you got a little bit over excited - either that or the air is very thin on that Swiss mountain. Thanks.
I to would love to have a tank sized box.
