No more penalty shootouts!
For those of you who don't like sport - there's SPORT!
I wrote to FIFA about this and got a reply. Who'd have guessed?
Sorry there's been so little this month. Putting my back out again while mending my bike didn't help. Lots more next month!

I tried something similar when I was coaching kids football. Near the end of the game I started to have anyone making a mistake like failing to keep the ball in the game sent off. It was remarkable how quick the game ended. They had free substitutes so in theory they could have "fresh" players in, but it never occured to them. The game never lasted more than five more minutes anyway. For some reason the kids opted for a penalty shootout.
The FIFA guy was probably a goalie.
Ouch. This "sport" thing sounds dangerous.
