Whom do you admire the most?

Is admiration necessarily idolatry?  I suppose one could say that it is not.  The comments section seems to be saying that I equated the two things when the distinction is important.  Perhaps so, but one becomes the other when it is the person and not the person's skills or deeds that become the object of the admiration.
