Single- and double-action revolvers
Have you ever wondered why cowboys 'fan' their revolvers in western movies, but never British officers in WW2 films? Ever found yourself a bit hazy on what a 'double action' pistol is? All should, if I have done my job right, be clear soon.

Best to keep it simple. I'll be dealing with the use of a double-action pistol for single-action firing in a video soon.
The Peacemaker used cartridges, the Army was cap and ball.
That looks like a Colt Peacemaker than a Colt Army to me.

BTW, great videos! Always top notch, regardless of my penchant for graphic triggers and not seeing any in this video, I truly do want to let you know that your segments on so many topics and ideas are absolutely top notch. Now a patreon supporter and hopefully, there will be graphic triggers in the future. My attention for all graphic depictions of well, just about anything is just because I love to be able to see what is inside of just about anything mechanical. Cutaway illustrations, schematics, all the depictions of the inner workings of mostly anything fascinates me as much as their overall design and workmanship. Cutaways, real ones or just those magnificently detailed illustrations of everything from aircraft to cameras are all over my walls. Enough rambling..Great video!
I do put in the occasional animated graphic (see cyclops eyes video, for example), but they do take a while to do. There shall be more. One on spiking guns soonish.
No graphic trigger close ups..no spreads. But the real clickbaity "Warning" definitely got me. I am reversed triggered. I am entitled to something of yours. I wanted graphic trigger action as the warning in the description states.. there were no GIFs, no blueprints, not one CAD software graphic of 3D model design drafts or illustrations, no engineering schematics. Not a one. No graphic triggers at all. I understand that I have a sickness, but I still deserve my triggers. Now I have to lube my barrel disappointed and alone as usual.
I am very sorry that my trigger gag caused you disappointment. Possibly one day I shall make up for this error when doing something on wheel-lock pistols or something.
