Do or do not do - there is no 'try'
My first 'short' in a long time, and my first using my new editing and colour-grading software. Not perfect, but I'm getting there. No charge.

What I loved so much about the original Yoda is the fact that he’s a silly little unsuspecting swamp creature in a stinking bog, laughing and pulling pranks and indeed being “a bit of a git” yet he is the Jedi master capable of astonishing power. Prequel Yoda was the nail in the coffin for me. Can’t stand what they did with the idea of Yoda
In the debate about prequels I always say: it depends on what you wanted. If you watched the original trilogy and expected more of the same you are fully justified in being disappointed. But if you can separate your preconceptions out, the prequela are actually quite good. Not perfect, but really good. They do happen some 20-30 years earlier and they end with an apocalyptic event that changed the whole known universe. The setting where prequels happen is so different from the setting of the original trilogy oven though the latter is a continuation of the former. But the difference is justified in-world. And Yoda lived through all this. He witnessed the fall of civilization. He personally failed to protect the goodness and order of which he was the highest guardian. Then he lived as a lone bachelor having only animals and plants to talk to.
