Was Hannibal a Hero?
It's long, it's about war, and the comments will be filled with people asking about the book.
Early comments complain about the sound. The sound plays absolutely fine for me.
Anyway, i hope you like it.

So... About that book?
Re sound, it might be a little echoy but that's probably from the room you record in and not an audio processing issue
It's been a while since the last one-hour-long historical breakdown video, I've always loved watching these from you. I've probably seen all of them twice or thrice at this point 😄 Thanks, Lloyd! I hope you are keeping well. Also hats off to you for the advertisement, it always works much better when it's fun!
The figures are for the FIRST DAY of the Somme (July 1, 1916) - and the battle lasted 4 months 2 weeks and 3 days (Nov 18 1916) until the British admitted defeat.
Yes, that's why I referred to it as the 'opening battle of the Somme'. It is the battle that everyone talks about and the stats are the ones often quoted. The whole campaign was as you say much longer, and the Germans retook pretty much all the ground gained, so it was all for nought.
No he was a regular sandwich
