Is hating people worth it?
The return of Q217! Having mislaid the book (more than once), I have found it again, and there shall be more of these.
It was nice as usual to chat to those patrons who joined me for the video call last weekend. I didn't get so many joining in this time, but that meant that each got to say a lot more, so 'swings and roundabouts' as they say.

So Eli Weisel should have forgiven the Nazis?
The video was about the general utility of hatred. A common piece of wisdom is to hate the sin but not the sinner. Even if an inmate of a Nazi work camp could not forgive his jailers, he does not have to put the effort in to actively hating them every day. He has the rest of his life to lead.
I hate you
Harsh, but within your rights.
Had a great time on the chat, coming from Hawaii! Thanks for doing it! And huzzah for the return of the book.
Be nice to each other cause this [points to me and you] this is all we've got. - Kyle Hill
I like these.
You're entirely correct about the waste of time and energy that hate begets. If you can get to a point where it's a life lesson and move on then so much better.
