*ominous music plays* "His father is the top of demon society! Unmatched in power!" And then the next scene shows a relaxed goober of a man who dotes on his son with his wife. Me: *blinks* Wait... I have been scammed! Swindled! Bamboozled even! Touko over here living in an actual cat (demon) house and dealing with her orange cat energy boyfriend.

Riu: It's lonely at the top. Yuzu: It's lonely at the bottom too :D

I don't mind Reiya's dad being a loveable goofball. I like it a lot in fact- I mind the fact that Reiya's dad looks like he could be Reiya's son. He looks MUCH younger than his son. It's so weird to me-! On top of the fact Reiya's right hand man looks like he's his brother.

This series has been my introduction to the romance genre for anime and its so fun!! The music is so cool. Really hits some of those og vibes from Fate/Stay Night with some of those instrumentals.

Reiya's dad is basically Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel.....got all this talk and aura around him...turns out to be a lovable goofball

I love the contrast that his parents are bubbly extroverted beans overflowing with emotion while he is a stoic introverted guy. Like he was right not to bring Yuzu to meet them immediately because going from utter neglect to that would leave her overwhelmed.

Man BROKE HIS ARM just hold her like that!!! (talking about weird hand situation)
