aaaaand i spoke too soon it seems. alicia is still on the mindset that the show puts drama first over who deserves to go. alicia, they already lost aaron, if they kept eliminating people every week, they would be an episode short.

I have never heard some say they love eating goldfish before, I had to check what those were because in australia we don't have those biscuits. for a second there I thought you were saying that you love eating pet goldfish.

Well they have to have one episode where nobody goes home because of the medical exit for Aaron which Joana also went home that same episode so it has thrown off the one person goes home per episode plan they had in place.

43:37 Bonnie offing herself with a smile on her face just so she won’t have to hear Melissa constant yapping was hilarious.

This episode has solidified Melissa as the villain of HK season 3

The bride has such a beautiful smile.

I love that your wedding entree's are pure blooded American BBQ or a classic Indian dish. The Wedding's I've been to are just Chicken/beef or fish.

I assume that part of keeping her instead of dropping her is that the production was booked for x days, and they'd already had two people kicked off at once + Aaron drop out, so they needed to retain people or not have enough episodes.

JP has a long history of hating planners because they've always come across as irritating and controlling

Oh my god! Francisco! The best background plot of the series. He may only show up in 2 or 3 episodes over the seasons but the way J.P. reacts to him in each episode tells you about all the drama those two get into. Lol

Love that moment where Gordon clapped as the couple showed up and then he turned to his chefs as if to say, "CLAP, YOU IDIOTS!"

I don't know whats worse. The duck breast itself or Melissa's attempts to hide that shit

Can adults order from the kids menu? Cause while brisket or chicken beriany are good choices, who can turn down a plate of fancy chicken fingies

God this episode made me hate Melissa so much. She is such a terrible leader.

I adore the "I'm getting off my wedding topic." *10 seconds pass* "so what I'm serving at my wedding.." it's so cute how excited she is 😅

When i first saw the Duck Breast episode many years ago, my jaw hit the floor. I was expecting a full breakdown from Gordon but it was just a quiet bubbling anger that still sits with me.

S
Skoonie · July 17, 2026

Most of Gordon's anger is performative, but this is one of the times you see him genuinely angry. The duck breast continues to live in infamy.

W
Windthor Pryas · July 18, 2026

Oh, yeah, it's when Gordon gets really, really quiet is when you can be assured that he is actually furious. It doesn't happen as often in Hell's Kitchen because the yelling gets the ratings, but the scarcity makes it special.

I must beleive in the fact the bride and groom got a big fat check from production because who in their right mind would accept to go with hell's kitchen on their wedding day, I mean I didn't even watch 3 full seasons yet but I know it goes well only like 5 percent of the time.

I'm like, halfway though, and I want the girls to win, and for Gordon to send Julia to the boys team

I

While I do agree it was a producer call, another reason to keep Melissa was that they needed an episode where nobody went home after Aaron Song's medical exit, which threw off the plan to have one person go home per episode.

F

Tbf they started off with 13 competitors so it would’ve never been able to be one elimination at a time without at least one double like Aaron and Joanna to make it to the finale in 10 episodes

I just finished the previous one! woohoo!
