This is pretty typical for Loki writing, at least from the ancient mythology. He is typically a scapegoat of the gods and often seen as troublesome, sure, but unevenly blamed for all wrongs that befall them.

To be fair, he's only recently a son of one of the Elders (Garling was the one got inducted when Saturn was... Let go)

Since there are other islands with different kinds of giants other than Elbaph giants, which are inspired by Norse mythology, it would be cool if the other giant islands had giants inspired from other mythologies or folklore (like Titans from Greek/ Roman mythology, Oni from Japanese folklore, etc)
