Super Heavyweight

Carter Price entered Singlet Kings with exactly the attitude you would expect from a 22-year-old, massively muscular heavyweight who grew up believing he came from the strongest wrestling family in the room.

He does not lack confidence.

At 6’3” and roughly 290 pounds, Carter carries a huge young frame with cannonball shoulders, a thick chest, massive arms, a powerful back and heavily developed legs.

His physique looks unusually mature for his age.

That is part genetics.

Part training.

And part growing up under Mitch Price.

Carter learned wrestling from his father, a championship-winning collegiate heavyweight and longtime coach who never allowed him to rely on size alone.

The result is an athlete who has both the body of a powerhouse and the expectations of somebody who has been told his entire life that he should dominate.

Carter has not exactly tried to ease into the Singlet Kings roster.

He went directly after established names.

He challenged Amir Tehrani and Ahmed Ali, putting himself in the orbit of two of Team Iran’s most dangerous heavyweights.

He also faced Eddie Biggs, another enormous American heavyweight, and came out on top.

That win mattered because Eddie is exactly the kind of wrestler who should theoretically neutralize Carter’s biggest advantage.

He is huge.

He is strong.

He likes contact.

Carter still found a way through him.

The story escalated again when Troy Masters became involved in the Carter-Eddie rivalry, pushing Carter into an even more chaotic two-on-one challenge environment.

That is the kind of situation Carter seems to enjoy.

The harder the test sounds, the more interested he becomes.

And unlike some young prospects, Carter does not speak as though he is hoping to eventually belong among the top heavyweights.

He already believes he does.

His father believes in the Price-family strength.

Carter believes he is the next version of it.

The only disagreement between them is which Price is actually stronger.
