Today, we want you all to take a peek into the gameplay systems of our upcoming game, Aurielle: Legacy of the Elves.

The magic necklace - Leveling up

The main progression system in ALOTE will be this magic necklace that Aurielle will always carry with her.

Aurielle will get X amount of experience when doing lewd things and, when she hits the 'cap', interacting with the necklace will level her up.

This will be the main way our protagonist gets 'stronger' and unlock 'new abilities'.

Exploration

In Aurielle: Legacy of the Elves, exploration will be an important part of the game. Aurielle will be able to explore certain locations of the map, while others will be more interactable, like cities, villages and other safe places.

When exploring, she will find enemies, treasure or events.

Combat

As you probably know, we don't like to put combat in our games, at least not in a 'normal' way. In Aurielle: Legacy of the Elves, our protagonist will be able to defeat enemies instantly if they are the same or lower level than her.

Certain enemies will also be 'defeatable' in other ways. Depending on her level and skills, she will be able to pass through them unbothered, show them mercy or have fun with them in more ways than one.

Each zone will have its 'zone level'. Some of them will be unexplorable or extremely difficult until Aurielle gets stronger.

If defeated in combat, the necklace will protect her and return her to a safe place!

These are the three main things we wanted to explain as we keep working in the game. We will obviously will appreciate all the help when game releases to improve, remove or add more features.
