Sneak peek into Project Elf.
Hello everyone!
We want you to meet up with our Main Character for our next game and say a bit about our current plans for the world and gameplay systems.
THE PROTAGONIST
She is an elf, living in an elven city surrounded by a leafy forest. As all female elves in the city, she is a very capable combatant and she's always prepared to find and fight any orc that dares approach the forest.
As you can distinguish in the picture, our protagonist will go through a lot in her story. She will surely change A LOT over the course of the game...
THE WORLD
You can expect a fantasy world with lots of different races with their different cultures and clashes between them; Elves, Orcs, Humans... and more.
We plan on having a map of each region to explore with different biomes and races, which will bring events, cities and villages, enemies, outfits and accessories for our MC, etc.
THE GAMEPLAY
As you can imagine after reading the previous point, we will try to make the game as big as we can. If you've played Raven's Quest, you'll have a great image in your mind of what we are trying to achieve with this one, but with a larger scope and improved systems.
There will be different places to explore, some will be your typical cities and villages, where NPCs will give the MC quests, merchants will trade their items, while also having more dangerous zones, which the MC will need to explore, using her stamina, to fight enemies and find treasures and events.
The MC will level up with the help of a mysterious amulet, making her able to explore new places and defeat stronger enemies. BUT - There will be no combat per se, rather a simple encounter system: Is the MC higher or the same level as the enemy in front? She can defeat them. She could also use other means to 'defeat' them, of course.
All in all, this is a very first peek at what we have planned. We will slowly introduce more stuff for you to be excited about as the release date comes close.
We will post a couple of concept arts in another post for supporters!
See you very soon for a new update of Welcome to Erosland!

I've played all 3 big fan, can't wait for this one!
Looks awesome. A Ravens Quest style game with the art quality and quantity of Erosland would be amazing.
So far I really like what I'm hearing! I'm really excited to explore the world You'll craft :D One thing I hope to see is a system of that shopkeeper from raven's quest who'd give you discounts if you'd show off Raven's chest, perhaps an extended system where the protagonist can, depending on their corruption level, do favors to buy things cheaper or sell loot for more?
This sounds amazing!! I love how much variety and well thought out the idea is. Even nailing the combat aspect making it super simple but still including it and making it a choice instead of actual combat
