What is coming...
Hey everyone. This will be a rather long post, so bear with us!
As we said in our previous post, we really are excited to tell you that we are working on our next game.
While we finish Welcome to Erosland, we're already brain-storming and doing some coding, writing and drawing for the new game.
We talked about this a bit in our previous post, but just to put more of our thoughts here...
Welcome to Erosland isn't something we were used to doing. The previous two games we made, were about telling a story through the eyes of a female main character, something we both love. Having one MC progress and going in an adventure is what we really prefer and that's one of the main takeaways we've learned after working on WTE. We rather write a story and that's what we're going to do.
Welcome to Erosland was a huge challenge, with many new systems and we also encountered many problems with its development. It was a HUGE work load for Chica (our artist) and if we didn't want the game to be a hundred years in development, we needed to cut some of the 'corruption' time on the girls.
Don't get us wrong, though! We loved working on it. We actually learned a lot and are overall happy with what we've done with the game, but it's time to turn to a new page... or book, rather!
The new game - Project Elf! (WIP Name)
We're back to our usual way of making games: A female MC going on an adventure. It will have a very rich story and world with, of course, the usual slow 'corruption', this time, with a very special 'system' along with it.
You can then expect the game to be closer to The Wind's Disciple and Raven's Quest! (A bit of both)
We will try very hard to make our next game our best yet. We have wonderful ideas and tons of things that we've learned making our previous three games that will bring this new one to new heights.
We will announce the theme, the name and show you some concept art very soon. We are extremely excited to work on it and release a first alpha for you to play. Can't wait for you all to play it! We really want this next game to be a step up for us.
New pricing and rewards.
Before finishing this post, we want to announce some changes in pricing and a new tier for Patreon.
We're going to increase the pricing on the tiers in a few months, most likely at the time we release 'Project Elf'. We feel a bit 'forced' to do this, especially because our increasingly high taxes.
We've changed the tiers just once in our 10~ years in Patreon, but we didn't want to increase the pricing. At the end of the day, we release all our games for free and that's something we want to keep doing and we have to depend on this system. It also means we wouldn't be here without your support and we'll always be grateful for all of you.
We're changing the last two tiers with new and more straightforward rewards.
Remember that if you don't stop the subscription, those changes won't affect you!
From lowest to highest:
€3 -> Access to Patreon posts and images. Get the game 1 day before public release.
€7.50 -> Get the game 3 days before public release.
€12.50 -> Get the game 1 week before the public release.
€18 -> Get the game 2 weeks before the public release
€25 -> Get the game 3 weeks before the public release
€35 -> Same as €25 tier, but your name will appear on the credits, in NPCs, items, etc.!

Finally a new FMC Game, I loved RQ. Hype!
Going back to the story and style of TWD and RQ, with the knowledge you gained, and the skills Chica improved on, is such a good decision to hear. I felt that WTE was a deviation in style that lost me on the way, and made me cancel my subscription after a while, even if I kept following your work. Project Elf will bring me back as a subscriber, I can already tell.

Sounds incredibly promising! RQ and TWD were really enjoyable games. And an elf as the protagonist sounds... exciting :p Can we expect more/similar mechanics as in RQ? For example, a pregnancy system? Perhaps even more than in RQ?

When can we be the first the first sneak peeks of what’s to come for project elf? Also it’s sad that this game is going away eventually, out of this and raven’s quest, I honestly loved Eros land more, but for me it probably come down to Eros land I had an easier time learning than raven’s quest since there was no combat or secrets, this was very straight forward, but that being said anyone who is reading this, I’m not saying RQ is a bad game it’s FANTASTIC and you should pick it up and try it to support these guys even further.
