Hello Test Subjects, it's been a while!
After the drama and the overall changes to the game (and the world tbh) in the past like 9 months, I've lost all inspiration. Starting as my escape during covid I went HAM on TS4 for 5 years, spending all of my free time after my 9-6 job, modding and maintaining everything. I've needed to refocus on my non-digital life including my health, but for my health. Plus, having to use AI at work has really made me re-evaluate what I like about programming as a hobby. It's all I've ever known and done.
I don't know what I'm going to do in the future with Lot 51 and am just going to be in maintenance mode. I will keep Core Library and the rest of my mods up to date with game patch changes for as long as I can. The Tuning Builder will stay online and have the latest TDESCs updated as soon as I'm able to upload. Bot 51 will still be available to help with exception reports on my site and in Discord. Maybe something will change in the future, but for now I need a break from The Sims 4. Paralives needs more time in the oven before I try to do anything but it could be fun to have a Simzlink or something in there one day.
No news is good news.
If you don't hear from me after a patch you can assume everything is good to go. I made a few updates to my website to give more details about each mod's status for each game version when something is wrong. Click on the "Latest Game Version" card on my homepage to see the latest mod status.
I may silently release updates to fix some bugs from time to time, there are a few open issues in Discord, so for sure check my website Changelog every now and then. I just don't feel the energy to broadcast every update anymore.
I really thank all of you who have supported me over the 5+ years and those who still choose to be a member. It's truly been a wild ride and am grateful for everyone I've met, especially those who helped me. Literally could not have done any of this without the help of so many other people.
This 100% isn't dag dag forever but see ya later. I'll check in here and be online in Discord if you need me. For now, I'm touching grass and in maintenance mode.

Is this mod broken?
I updated today and keep getting lot 51 core library is disabled. A pack selection change without a game restart has been detected. CORE library has disabled itself

not sure if you are aware, but it appears the CORE is broken

Thank you SO much for your mods - they are among the most essential I use and I can't imagine playing without them! They have brought so much delight. You have been intensely creative (the best!) and there comes a time to refuel your tanks. I hope you can really take in everything that you need and feel restored in due time. I went through burnout not too long ago. I spent around 6+ months away from creating, then decided to come back and restructure. I'm not at 100 for sure, but it definitely helped! I hope your time away helps you as well!

It's always bittersweet to read messages like this from modders/creators. on one hand you want the best for them because they are humans too with lives, on the other hand you know their absence will greatly impact the way you're accustomed to playing and its sad.
