Suite Life 1.8.1 Update
Hello Test Subjects!
This lil update has some fixes and QoL improvements.
Guest Laundry is going to get another overhaul as it doesn't seem to perform as well as I'd like. The "Do Laundry" small business activity would be a good alternative but it makes sims spawn fake laundry instead of picking up dirty piles and emptying the hamper. Another thing I've noticed is the small business activity does not support the wash tub and or clothesline. In a future update Guest Laundry will become a new opt-in activity compatible with all the things, and would be a great opportunity to add a staffed laundry service perk too!
You can now delete Custom Kitchen Menu Presets.
Fixed Order Food and Call Hotel Maintenance phone interactions not running.
The Eat Food Guest Activity will also encourage guests to eat from their existing platters.
Visitors invited over to the Hotel will now be put in the proper situations for you to be able to Ask to Leave/Send Home. They should automatically be added to your Social Group and given the room key after knocking on the door.
Visitors with your room key will now be included in the Room Service Order Food picker.

Thank you for this awesome mod. Really been enjoying it, but there seems to be an issue when saving the game on a suite life lot when there is a hotel owner attached to the lot. It throws a last exception even when playing a different household. the last exception said something about hotelmanager.psy or something like that. The game can still save, but it makes me nervous :D I also noticed that the hotel settings are not saved in particular the guest activities unless there is an owner attached to the lot. Just some observations. Thank you!
There were a few hotel settings not saving that are fixed in my next update! The exceptions are fixed as well. I should have it uploaded tomorrow. The guest activities aren't tied to the owner so that's weird. I will investigate. If you run into any issues in the future please post them in Discord as you find them so we can troubleshoot with your exception reports and I can get fixes out faster. https://lot51.cc/discord
