Tutorial: Creating the 'Polychrome Live' visuals
Something extra special for December! We've had many many requests from fans to offer insight into how the visuals for our Polychrome AV show were created.
We asked Leigh – the mastermind behind kaPOW Visuals – to give us a snapshot of her artistic process. In this video she shows how she used macro photography, combined with an array of different materials and processes, to create her stunning visuals for 'Viridian Dream'.
Huge thanks to the entire visual team for all of their beautiful work. We hope you enjoy!

All I know is audio. But this inspires me to dive into visuals and Leigh did an incredible job being super clear with her knowledge and keeping things relatively comprehensive considering I know nothing about video production, it made sense. With anything new, like me trying out a DAW for the first time 15 or so years ago, things can get overwhelming. I'll admit, I'm intimidated by the video production side of things, but this instructional had me inspired and motivated. Thanks Leigh and Koan Sound for making this happen!
This is my favorite tutorial thats been on this page! So mesmerizing.
this is SO COOL!!
If you guys ever released a Blu-ray of the record in surround or Atmos with all these visuals, count me in!
At first I was like "eh, I'm not really a visual artist so this won't do much for me" but within about 10 minutes I was totally hypnotized
this is so awesome!
