this is so sick. watching how easily you cook this up is incredible and inspiring. years and years and years of learning. thank you for showing this to us, so much information here, very little fluff, this is incredibly valuable
Ever since the first time I heard the Funkblaster EP I've been dying to know how these guys make those big what I called "movement basses" that just are so huge you they literally make you FEEL like you're getting thrown around a bouncy castle. I never thought one day I'd be able to see the process and follow along to make something that sounds infinitely less cool but still be stoked on it.. and here we are. There's a few cool things about the future, I guess.
Awesome! Would definitely love to see more self-contained bass patches.
Just wanna call out that I mentioned this as an idea for a video and the dudes actually delivered. I'm sure I'm not the only one asking but it's great to see you all listening to the community so closely.
Impressive!
This is so cool! For the fundamental note tracking in Serum: How did you figure out the 50% amount of the Note# source for the key tracking? Did you work that out through experimentation, or am I missing something there?
FL users rejoice
