Tutorial: Audio Reactive Bass

WWWWHAT. Dude I’m gonna go crazy with this technique. If I could make a few different templates and then write DnB tunes the same way I do my live band stuff - with pen and paper mostly in my head until I take it to a DAW, then I could just sing all my heavy bass tunes instead of getting lost for 10 hours crafting one mediocre bass sound and giving up lol. This is incredible, thank you for the knowledge I will use it irresponsibly

Yall are wizards. thank you again for all that y’all do! Also, I am curious, do you ever keep notes as you’re sound designing, and/or producing a track? Like keeping a journal of what you did and or need to do? I find myself going back into projects and just being like, “how tf did I make this sound?” knowing damn well that I just threw effects and shit at the wall til it stuck. Obviously repetition and building that muscle/mind memory is the name of the game, but just curious of how - or when - you’re making the jump from sound design to writing a song, and if there is a note taking process within that. Or, if it’s just capturing the moment if inspiration strikes. Idk if that makes a ton of sense. Just in awe of y’all’s workflow.
